Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Host account data: name, email address, and profile image, from sign-up or your login provider.
• Event data: event title, date, location, welcome message, cover image, and branding you add.
• Guest data: a display name (if provided), and any photos or videos uploaded — no account or email is required to upload.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device info, and session identifiers, used for login security and abuse prevention.
• Payment data: handled directly by Polar, our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment, not full card details.

How we use it

• To operate the service: creating events, accepting uploads, and showing them to the host.
• To process payments for event plans.
• To secure accounts and prevent spam or abuse of the upload links.
• To respond to support requests sent to hello@easy.pics.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run Easy Pics, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Cloudflare — stores uploaded photos and videos.
• Polar — processes host payments as merchant of record.

Cookies and sessions

We use a session cookie to keep hosts logged in and a short-lived, event-scoped session token so a guest's browser can keep uploading during an event. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention

Event media is kept for the upload and viewing window included in the event's plan, shown at checkout. After the viewing window ends, media is deleted. Host account data is kept while the account is active and deleted on request.

Security

Uploads are transferred over encrypted connections and stored with access controls limiting who and what can read them. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect data appropriately.

Your rights

Hosts can access, export, or delete their account and event data from the dashboard, or by emailing hello@easy.pics. Guests can ask the event host to remove a specific upload, or email hello@easy.pics directly with the event link and the photo in question.

Children

Easy Pics is meant for adults organizing events. Photos of children may appear as part of event content shared by a host with appropriate permission, but the service isn't directed at children creating accounts or uploading on their own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
